Are you feeling a bit emotional? Wondering why? It could be the full moon. At this time humankind is more emotional than other times. My daughter was born under this exact configuration. I I loved this book. Unable to put it down, I slept with it...ate with it...etc. I usually read smaller books but this one was the best mystery. The investigator is a journalist, Scott McGrath who is like a dog with a bone. He never gives up til he gets to the bottom of things. Great characters who travel into dark tunnels seeking the truth about a young girls death. I promise you a great adventure awaits all of you who pick up this book.

Look up and you will see a big round moon. This is called the 'harvest' moon. It was named this by the farmers harvesting their crops. The native americans called this moon the 'corn' moon which also referred to their harvest. They could stay up late and work because of the bright light. This month the full moon is in Pisces, the sign of the fishes swimming in opposite directions. Are you swimming in opposite directions regarding some area of your life? How about writing the pros and cons and studying the facts and then make a focused decision. You can do it! Wishing everyone a dance in the moonlight.

Tuesday night will be the full moon in Aquarius. The individual vs the common man : creative leo will be exploring areas of justice and fairness for all. Let's welcome the new moon in Leo today by being a star in our own show! Isn't our greatest creative act living the life we dream of having. How about we decide today to take one step toward that dream. Let me know what happens.

Here is the famous 'butterfly bush'. Looking at the photo you can see how it got its name. It usually has about 5 monarch butterflies on it. I guess they were camera shy.

Many people complain about this 'messy' tree, the mimosa, but it is a very attractive tree to monarch butterflies. They love it! As a butterfly watcher, I love it too. All it needs is a pink flamingo under it. It planted itself a few years ago in a little crack in the concrete. Apparently it doesn't ask for much care. What could be prettier?

This full moon also coincides with the planet mercury going direct (7-20-13). There will be clarity and a straightening out of misunderstandings. The moon in aquarius favors independence and futuristic endeavors. Communication is highlighted and hopefully some understanding will be reached. Leo wants to shine like the sun and aquarius wants to be 'part of''.

Enjoy the moonlight tonite! Full moon in Capricorn this Sunday at 7:32 am. The ambitious 'fishy goat' is aiming for the mountain top. Keep up the steady trek. Make your list of your goals and set time aside each day to see what you can do to achieve them. Organization will definitely be a headliner. Don't worry about the playtime that will come later. Saturn rules this sign and it is very karmic. Some things happen due to a previous debt that we don't remember (past life perhaps?). Remember as Oral Roberts used to say: "expect a miracle". Never stop trying.

Full moon saturday May 25th. As of now, I hear the emergency rooms are filling up. Try to think first and speak later. Go dancing. Since the moon is in sagittarius it would be fun to socialize with friends,plan a long trip,or a long hike. Whatever you choose (I may try my 'zumba' dvd) remember not to take things too seriously- including yourself. Thursday 4/25 will be a full moon at 5 degrees scorpio and a lunar eclipse at 5 degrees of scorpio. This is the time to see how close you are coming to fulfillment of your new moon wishes. The seeds should be starting to sprout. The fixed signs (taurus, leo, scorpio and aquarius) should notice some action especially if you are in the early degrees. The eclipse sets off aspects in the natal chart around that degree or an aspect to a planet at that degree. It is like plugging into a wall socket and more energy is available. Think of something you have been wanting to accomplsh and perhaps this will give you a little push. Scorpio is the most misunderstood sign. People of this sign like their secrets and should always hang onto a few of them. They are quiet so it is hard to get to know them. Remember, still waters run deep. The scent of lilies filled the air as I arrived at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pa. Orchids everywhere! Perched in trees, hanging from ceilings and walls they transported me to another world. Did you know that the vanilla bean comes from an orchid plant? Look on the dannon vanilla yogurt container and you will see it. The orchid plant grows up the wall on a vine but the flower is very small. Have an early spring and go!

The full moon this month falls in the sign leo. Aquarians need to rest up since this is a time for them to conserve their energy especially with the square from saturn. The air signs- gemini & libra will feel energized by this moon. Leos may receive a present unexpectedly and capricorns will see an emphasis on the financial areas of their own or their partner's chart.Enjoy the snow and curl up with a good book!

It's a cloudy day in New York with a 50 degree temp in January! It always seems sunny in New York. So many people from all over the world come together in the Times Square area. The stadium seating and little tables and chairs are a welcome site to my tired legs. Quite a change from my suburban home.
