BLOOD SUPERMOON AND LUNAR ECLIPSE - 9/27/15 SUNDAY (click here)
There is a lot of excitement in the media (besides the Pope) about the 'blood supermoon and lunar eclipse'. The term 'blood' apparently is recent according to the scientific community. It refers to the color. The religious community claim it is in the bible. So take your pick on that.The term supermoon describes the size of the moon as viewed from earth. It is closest to us at this time and will appear 'super sized'. Astrologically there is a lunar eclipse in aries which sounds exciting to me since I have 2 planets in aries. An eclipse is likened to plugging a lamp into a wall socket. The lamp and the socket were there but not really connected until plugged in. That is what an eclipse does- it plugs the planets into more energy. This eclipse will affect each of us differently. It will energize those who are born in early aries, libra, cancer, capricorn, gemini, sag, leo, and aquarius. We need to be aware of our actions and take a minute to 'be conscious' before acting. The moon in aries will stimulate more action oriented thinking and doing...no philosophising here! Aries is the 'Fire of the Spirit'. It is a good time to sit and try to connect with our inner Heart of Love. Putting aside all the 'shoulds', judgements and 'isms' that separate mankind, can we embrace all as our brothers and sisters in a planetary hug? Be here now with consciousness not impulsiveness. If you live in est zone look up at 9:40pm-11:50pm or so to see the eclipse. The aries/libra axis puts an emphsis on relationships Aries is the 'self-ego' and libra the 'other or partner'. Which shall we choose? Comprimise is important.
